Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, dept. Dentistry DUCK 5 is a new system that can be used as an alternative to dental photography to monitor and analyse the status of the dentition of your patient. It is much easier and efficient in use than the traditional camera with separate mouth mirrors, that have to be handled by a third party (the dental assistant for instance). Due to the optical system the viewing angle and the dimensions of the image is standardized, which facilitates longitudinal assessments of the same patient. The Duck 5 produces calibrated digital images that can be analyzed with practical and efficient functionalities. Digital images can easily be stored alongside your digital x-ray images, which facilitates optimal recording of the dental status of your patients. The DUCK 5 system is a modern monitoring system for dentistry with potential diagnostic values.
